Skims has officially planted its flag in Los Angeles with the opening of its flagship store on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. The store marks the brand’s ninth U.S. location, following recent openings in Cabazon, California and Paramus, New Jersey. With plans to open thirteen more locations this year, including international expansions, Skims is growing rapidly.
The Los Angeles flagship, located at 8569 West Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, marks to have “a flagship in Los Angeles for a brand based in Los Angeles, that is incredibly important, and that’s really a no-brainer,” said Jens Grede, co-founder of Skims. “That’s a dream and something we wanted to do for a long time.”

Designed by Rafael de Cárdenas, the 4546-square-foot (422 m²) space mirrors the aesthetic of Skims’ New York flagship, which opened on Fifth Avenue in December 2024, with rounded-edge fixtures and tonal mannequins. A striking 12-foot sculpture by Vanessa Beecroft greets visitors and sets an artistic tone.
For Kim Kardashian, who lives on the outskirts of Los Angeles, the opening has personal significance. “Opening a Skims store in Los Angeles is a full-circle moment. This city has been a huge part of my life, and having a space here where people can experience the brand in person makes it even more special,” she said.
The flagship store features the brand’s best-selling collections, including Fits Everybody, Cotton, Ultimate Bras and exclusive releases such as NikeSKIMS. In addition, customers can shop a limited-edition “Skims loves LA” collection, with all net sales supporting the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.
To celebrate the launch, Skims has partnered with Mel’s Drive-In for a pop-up that combines retro diner charm with the brand’s aesthetic, which runs from April 2th-6th.
