The latest collaboration between MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon introduces the Mary Jane-style sneaker for the Fall/Winter 2024 season.
The new MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon XT-Mary J hybrid shoe is a bold reimagining of Salomon’s classic XT-4 trail running shoe. Combining a rugged sole with an elegant upper construction, this all-gender shoe option appeals to style-conscious urbanites and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

Launching alongside MM6 Maison Margiela’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, the XT-Mary J features a distinctive design with a wide toe opening secured by a single, slim Velcro strap.
This unconventional approach to closure adds a touch of avant-garde flair to the silhouette, while maintaining practicality. Fashion-forward consumers can choose between two eye-catching colorways.

The first option boasts a vibrant palette, with shocking pink and acid yellow accents set against a chunky, lightweight sole. The upper features a mesmerizing degradé effect that transitions from aqua green to terracotta orange, while the Salomon logo stands out prominently, evoking racing car sponsorships.

For those who prefer a more understated look, an all-black version is available. This monochromatic iteration pays homage to MM6’s signature aesthetic, subtly revealing the shoe’s layered construction through nuanced variations of asphalt and soft clay tones.
The XT-Mary J follows the success of previous collaborations between MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon, including the recent launch of the XT-4 Mule in June. The partnership, which began in 2023, has already produced notable releases such as the X-Alp and a trio of ACS Pro models, as well as the waterproof Cross Mid.
Priced at $395 USD, the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon XT-Mary J is available now through both brands’ e-commerce platforms, select MM6 and Salomon stores, and various multi-brand retailers.
