adidas brings new energy to its running family with the signing of Brazilian-American actress, producer and entrepreneur Camila Mendes. Mendes embodies adidas’ mission to redefine running as an accessible and fun activity for everyone.
In welcoming Mendes to the adidas running family, Patrick Nava, VP Product, Running & Credibility Sports at adidas Running, emphasized the brand’s inclusive approach. As someone who embodies the belief that running is for everyone, we are delighted to partner with Camila. Mendes, who has gained popularity through her roles in film and television, was candid about her personal experience with running. She candidly admits that running has not always come naturally to her. “Although I’ve always been physically active, running became a key part of my workout routine while training for my latest role,” Mendes explained. “But I know I’m not alone in that feeling. It’s okay to have a complicated relationship with running – many people do. By embracing both the challenges and the progress, I hope to encourage others to feel more confident in their own journey – and enjoy whatever running means to them.”

Her first adidas campaign will highlight the latest edition of the Supernova Rise 2, adidas’ renowned comfort-focused running shoe. Designed to provide improved cushioning and comfort for everyday runners, these shoes will debut in fresh colorways, available March 7th.
