The second installment of Jimmy Choo‘s collaboration with Sailor Moon has been unveiled. The luxury footwear brand has once again partnered with the beloved manga series to create a collection that blends high fashion with nostalgic charm.
Sandra Choi, Jimmy Choo’s Creative director, shared her admiration for the Sailor Moon franchise: “The power of femininity and unity that Sailor Moon represents is truly inspiring.” This sentiment is evident throughout the collection, which features designs that capture the essence of each Sailor Guardian.
The collection features five standout shoe designs, each reflecting the distinct personalities of the Sailor Guardians. Each pair incorporates the planet symbol associated with its respective Guardian, adding a unique collectible element for fans.
One of the highlights of the collaboration is the Avenue Vanity Bag, available in ten variations that highlight the personalities of the ten Sailor Guardians. Each version features a portrait of a different Sailor Guardian. The collection also includes phone holders, card holders and AirPod cases featuring original manga artwork by Naoko Takeuchi, the creator of Sailor Moon.
Takeuchi expressed her excitement for the collaboration, saying, “I am very happy to be able to collaborate again this year. In particular, I love the shoes of the guardians of outer planets, and the multicolored products.”
A standout piece in the collection is the reimagined Luna-P sphere, transformed into a minaudière available in smooth resin and crystal-encrusted finishes.
The campaign, created by YOSHIROTTEN’s Tokyo-based studio YAR, perfectly captures the spirit of both brands. Vibrant imagery and animated elements bring the Sailor Guardians to life alongside the stunning designs, creating a cohesive and eye-catching presentation.
Sailor Moon fans can now shop the collection worldwide, with prices ranging from €120 euros to €690 euros.
