Skims has opened its first flagship store in New York City, marking a major step in the brand’s retail growth. Over the past year, Skims has expanded significantly, opening new locations both in the U.S. and around the world. Located at 647 Fifth Avenue, the new flagship store was designed by renowned design studio Rafael de Cárdenas, Ltd. It features Skim’s unique design elements, such as rounded-edge fixtures and custom mannequins in the brand’s signature colors. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to create an immersive and elevated experience that brings Skims’ innovative vision to life, showcasing the brand’s commitment to design excellence and a great customer journey.

“This flagship is a dream realized for Skims. We’ve created a space that perfectly embodies our brand and elevates the customer experience. New York City has always held a special place in my heart, and opening our first flagship here during the holidays is truly magical,” said Kim Kardashian, Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer.
Rafael de Cárdenas, Ltd. designed the new 6,570-square-foot (610 m²) flagship store, transforming the historic 5th Avenue building with Skims’ signature style. From the street, the facade offers a wide and inviting view of the ground floor, highlighted by a monumental 15-foot (4.6 m) Vanessa Beecroft sculpture. Inside, the design spans three floors and a mezzanine, creating a seamless experience. Skim’s iconic colors are displayed on sleek Corian fixtures, set against a backdrop of tonal ultrasuede that extends throughout the soaring interior space.

Skims’ new store allows customers to easily shop the brand’s wide range of products for women and men, including loungewear, underwear and shapewear. The flagship store will feature best-selling collections such as Fits Everybody, Cotton, and Ultimate Bras, as well as new releases and exclusive items each month. In addition, the store offers Skim’s holiday collection and recent collaborations, including those with Dolce & Gabbana and The North Face.
