Prada has named Jarinporn Joonkiat, nicknamed Toey, as the brand’s first Thai brand ambassador. Known for her roles in films such as “Dear Galileo,” “Countdown” and “To the Moon and Back,” Toey Jarinporn Joonkiat has been a prominent figure in the entertainment world since her career began in 2006. Her influence extends beyond acting, as she is an active advocate for education and sustainability, underscored by her founding of the Environmental Education Center Thailand project. This initiative, which aims to integrate environmental education for the younger generation, “seamlessly with Prada’s identity: innovation in spirit, responsibility in action,” according to the brand.
Luxury brands are increasingly turning to Thai celebrities for their considerable influence throughout Southeast Asia. Last year, Prada also welcomed Thai actor Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn as its first brand ambassador in the region.
