Patou and Onitsuka Tiger, two iconic brands with a rich heritage, have joined forces to create a collaboration that blends Parisian chic with Japanese street style. This year Onitsuka Tiger celebrates its 75th anniversary and Patou its 110th.
Three captivating shoes are at the heart of this collaboration. First, the Mexico 66, an Onitsuka Tiger icon reimagined with Patou’s signature grosgrain embellishing the sleek tiger stripes. The exclusive pink and black colorway with Patou’s signature pink adds a pop of vibrancy. A reimagined tiger charm, bold and free, serves as a removable detail that adapts to different styles.
Next, the Mexico Rinkan exudes a relaxed, casual vibe with its soft beige hue accented with a bold pop of pink. Patou’s signature grosgrain adorns the back tab for a playful yet sophisticated finish.
The trio is completed by the Mexico 66™ Ballerina, a chic and sporty style inspired by the world of dance. Grosgrain on the iconic Onitsuka Tiger stripes lends a sophisticated look, while Patou’s black and pink palette dominates. A double strap adds the finishing touch to this elegant silhouette.
In addition to footwear, the Patou x Onitsuka Tiger collaboration features a range of apparel including hoodies, t-shirts and accessories. Patou’s signature pink and iconic grosgrain fabric are reimagined to seamlessly blend with the essence of Onitsuka Tiger. The unisex collection proudly displays the collaboration logo, a harmonious fusion of the distinctive elements of both brands.
To celebrate this remarkable partnership, an immersive experience called “Sleepover at L’appartement PATOU Tiger” will be held at Onitsuka Tiger’s Regent Street global flagship store in London during the holiday season. Inspired by the collaboration, visitors will be transported to a virtual world where two teenagers from Paris and Tokyo share a small apartment, creating a captivating fusion of Japanese and French cultures under one roof.
The Patou x Onitsuka Tiger collaboration will be available in stores in 15 regions and online from November 20th, 2024.
