Italian footwear brand Santoni recently opened its largest flagship store at 667 Madison Avenue, establishing a significant presence in New York’s upscale shopping district.
The impressive boutique spans over 3767 square feet (350m²) on two distinct levels. Architect Patricia Urquiola designed the space, drawing inspiration from iconic New York architecture, particularly the geometric patterns of the Chrysler Building. Visitors will notice the thoughtful selection of fine Italian marble paired with champagne brass accents throughout the space, as well as warm shades of orange and terracotta.

“Opening our new flagship in New York, right on our 50th anniversary, is an extraordinary milestone,” said Santoni President Giuseppe Santoni. “It was here, in 1997, that we opened our first boutique, marking the beginning of innovation and growth.”
The ground floor welcomes shoppers with high ceilings and elegantly paneled walls showcasing the brand’s latest collections. Moving down to the lower level, a comfortable space with mirrored details and the exclusive Bespoke Santoni area, where customers receive personalized attention.
What sets this largest flagship store apart from other luxury boutiques is the inclusion of an artisan workshop. Here, customers can have their beloved Santoni shoes repaired, expertly polished or resoled by skilled artisans.

The Madison Avenue location represents the evolution of the brand. “Today, our journey goes far beyond men’s footwear, strongly embracing women’s collections and accessories segments,” noted Giuseppe Santoni.
To commemorate the opening, Santoni introduced a special capsule collection of distinctive accessories for men and women.
