Simon Porte Jacquemus has formally declared that his most recent collaboration with Nike, entering its second year, is a creative blend of the iconic Air Force 1 and the ACG Terra. For this venture, the high-end brand has assembled a pair of monochromatic color schemes, featuring “Triple White” and “Triple Black” palettes.
The highly anticipated J Force 1 Low LX SP deviates from the previous Jacquemus and Nike collaboration – the Air Humara. Unlike its predecessor, which exhibited a sleek, uncluttered redesign, this latest offering ventures deep into creative experimentation, focusing on one of Air Force 1’s hallmark features – its sole unit.
The innovative twist emerges in replacing the familiar sole with one strongly reminiscent of the ACG Terra. This is coupled with a small, metallic Swoosh on the side, a minute yet impactful addition. With a nod to Bruce Kilgore’s original Air Force 1 design, the new J Force 1 Low LX SP stays true to its roots by adopting all-white and all-black color schemes.
The eagerly awaited Jacquemus x Nike J Force 1 Low LX SP is scheduled for release on June 13th, exclusively on jacquemus.com.
