Isabel Marant’s Pre-Fall 2025 collection reveals a striking pivot toward clean lines and understated elegance, combining the brand’s signature free-spirited charm with a newfound architectural precision. Known for her bohemian flair, Isabel Marant surprises with structured silhouettes, muted earth tones and tactile textures that whisper sophistication. Artistic director Kim Bekker notes that the shift reflects a yearning for simplicity. “Clothes should feel real, lived-in, even when they’re fresh off the rack,” she says.

This season, Marant trades her iconic prints for openwork knits and tailored coats. A faded faux suede jacket and fringed artisanal pieces nod to vintage craftsmanship without sacrificing modernity. The palette leans toward ecru, cognac and midnight blue, punctuated by pops of red or orange. Garments such as a featherweight ivory jersey bustier dress with lace-like detailing or a black slip dress ruffled at the hem balance delicacy with movement.
Knitwear alternates between sharp tailoring and relaxed slouchiness, while roomy coats with oversized pockets promise practicality. Though some designs – buckled jeans – strive to impress, others stay true to Marant’s roots. A faux-fur coat and gaucho boots dripping with metal hardware ground the collection in the brand’s rebellious DNA.
