Coca-Cola and Oreo have joined forces to create two limited-edition products: Oreo Coca-Cola Sandwich Cookies and Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar soda. This partnership, dubbed “Besties,” aims to celebrate the union of two iconic brands, blending their distinctive flavors to offer consumers a unique and delightful experience.
The Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar soda is a refreshing beverage that combines the classic taste of Coca-Cola with subtle hints of chocolate and creme, reminiscent of Oreo cookies. Meanwhile, the Oreo Coca-Cola Sandwich Cookie features a classic chocolate base infused with Coca-Cola syrup and a red-colored Golden Oreo cookie embossed with Coca-Cola designs. These cookies are filled with white-colored creme and contain popping candies to mimic the fizz of soda, adding a playful twist to every bite.
“Inspired by besties around the world, the two iconic brands are, for a limited time, sparking celebration amongst besties with the launch of two legendary products and several unique digital and physical experiences,” the brands stated in a press release.
The Oreo Coca-Cola Sandwich Cookies and Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar soda will hit the shelves of local grocery stores and convenience stores in participating markets, including the U.S., Canada, China, Mexico, and other countries, starting in September. Additionally, a frozen version of the Coca-Cola Oreo Zero Sugar soda will be available at McDonald’s and 7-Eleven locations in select markets.
To further enhance the “Besties” experience, Spotify is offering a “Bestie Mode Digital Experience,” allowing friends to merge their music tastes by scanning a QR code on Coca-Cola and Oreo brand products. Moreover, a “Bestie Mode” merchandise line in collaboration with Forever21 will be launched in the U.S., featuring apparel, a tote, a cosmetics bag, and more, all priced under $20 USD. The collection will be available mid-September at select Forever 21 stores and on its website.
