Louis-Gabriel Nouchi’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection for LGN Louis-Gabriel Nouchi is a powerful statement on the importance of showcasing diverse bodies in fashion. Inspired by George Orwell’s dystopian novel “Nineteen Eighty-Four,” Nouchi’s designs reflect the current political climate and his commitment to radical inclusivity.
Nouchi’s experience working on the Paris 2024 Paralympic Opening Ceremony was a turning point in his career. “It changed my life,” he said, emphasizing his desire to celebrate all bodies on the runway. The collection features parathletes, trans models and a diverse range of ages, genders and abilities, all dressed in black, khaki and bone tones.

The designer’s signature LGN Louis-Gabriel Nouchi bodysuits and one-sided cutouts take on a new meaning in this collection, serving as a symbol of empowerment rather than seduction. Strong-shouldered tailoring and boxy silhouettes convey a sense of menace, while smooth velvets and mouliné wool jacquards create fluidity and the illusion of tweed.
Nouchi’s collaboration with Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat resulted in a clean group of gray tailoring and coats, which also serves as his entry for the Woolmark Prize. Zippers bisecting silhouettes vertically and spiked gloves add an aggressive edge to the collection, while sock sneakers represent the latest iteration of his Puma collaboration.
Throughout the show, Nouchi’s designs oscillate between armor and shelter, reflecting his belief in the power of fashion to protect and empower. The collection is a testament to his commitment to showcasing diverse bodies and promoting inclusivity in the fashion industry.
