The Timberland boat shoe has been a staple since 1978, but it’s never looked like this. The brand teamed up with French fashion brand Jacquemus for a fresh take on the 3-Eye Lug silhouette, swapping out earthy tones for a punchy banana yellow called “La Bateau.” Designer Simon Porte Jacquemus hand-picked the color, giving the shoe an instant vacation-ready vibe.

The shoe retains Timberland’s rugged lug sole and premium leather construction, but adds subtle Jacquemus touches. Square eyelets and a specially designed co-branded metal lace keeper nod to both labels without overpowering the design. Inside, a soft leather lining provides comfort while cotton laces keep the look clean.

The Jacquemus x Timberland 3-Eye Lug boat shoe “La Bateau” will be available April 23rd on the Jacquemus website and in select boutiques, including the brand’s new Los Angeles store. Timberland‘s Tokyo monobrand store and online store will also carry the shoe.
