When asked about the Dsquared2’ return to showing IRL after two years of dressing in our sweats and hoodies, the Caten’ enthusiasm was not feigned: “It has been two long years, and it feels great to be back”.

More energetic than ever, the Caten twins returned to the Milan calendar – the calendar is forced to be scaled back, with significantly fewer events than initially planned as Italy’s virus infection tally hits record highs almost daily – with a new format: the coed format first embraced in 2017 has been abandoned and the men now have their own show and the women theirs.
Building on the globe-trotting spirit and eclectic vibe of the brand’ Pre-Fall lineup, this collection bets heavily on exuberantly colorful and eclectic fashion – which Dsquared2 collection isn’t?, by embarking the Dsquared2 man on a trip to the mountains filled with hiking and excursions in nature.
Dsquared2 man swapped his classic hiking gear for a panoply that suited more to a walk in town than in the mountains: functional down jackets in flashy colors and various shapes, cozy blanket-style ponchos, sequin-coated pullovers, knitwear multicolored, teddy hoodies, colorful anoraks, camouflage cargo pants, kilts and padded shorts worn over washed jeans, furry booties, fringed moccasins, hiking boots with colorful laces… all accessorized with eye-catching, color-blocked backpacks, colored harnesses and carabiners worn as suspenders or with Dsquared2-branded metal water bottles.
“That’s just the way fashion should be”, Dean and Dan Caten said.
