adidas and Humanrace redefine the Samba by Pharrell in latest collaboration

adidas and Humanrace™ have once again set the stage for innovation and style with their latest collaboration, the Humanrace Samba by Pharrell sneaker. This partnership has resulted in two additional colorways of the iconic Samba silhouette, Cloud White/Pink and Ash Grey/Green, capturing the essence of modern design while staying true to the heritage of both brands.

Pharrell Williams’ diverse creative portfolio spans multiple industries, and with Humanrace, he has been able to bring his artistic vision to the world of footwear. The new additions to the Humanrace Samba collection are a testament to this, showcasing a seamless blend of premium materials, intricate craftsmanship and a design philosophy that speaks directly to the lifestyle of young sneaker enthusiasts.

Staying true to Humanrace’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship, the Samba sneakers feature premium ECCO leather sourced from the Netherlands for durability and comfort. The design is further enhanced by the zig-zag stitching that gracefully contrasts the iconic three stripes, paired with a monochromatic suede toe cap that complements the upper construction.

Edward Robinson, Humanrace’s Creative director, shares his insights into the creation of the new Samba colorways, emphasizing the brand’s commitment to authenticity and attention to detail. “Humanrace’s newest Samba was conceived through our sense of creating products that are authentic and speak to a lifestyle which is relatable, yet evaluated through attention to detail, and without compromise. This is twinned with the history of the Samba, creating a product for everyday use, that is for now and the future,” Robinson explains.

To bring the story of the Humanrace Samba to life, adidas and Humanrace enlisted the talents of photographer Liam MacRae for an editorial campaign. MacRae’s ability to capture the essence of the collection’s versatility and comfort is unparalleled, showing how the sneakers effortlessly blend with natural landscapes and everyday wear. His work highlights the earthy tones of the new colorways, creating a visual narrative that resonates with the target audience.

The new Humanrace Samba colorways will be released in limited quantities. The sneakers will be available worldwide on November 3rd for $180 USD and can be purchased via the adidas Confirmed app, humanrace.com, adidas.com and select retailers.
