You may have seen Willy Chavarria collaborate with major brands in the past, but now the designer is finally stepping out on his own. He just revealed his first in-house shoe collection during his Fall 2026 runway show in Paris. This new lineup marks a significant change for the label following its successful partnerships with major brands like adidas and Allen Edmonds. The designer is clearly ready to offer his distinct vision through a standalone footwear range produced in Portugal.

Women’s footwear: sculptural heels and bold silhouettes

The women’s styles in this debut collection immediately demand your attention. The Furia stands out with its 3D-molded heel design that wraps securely around the toes, creating a striking visual effect. Another highlight is the Pepa, which reimagines the classic pump with various shearling treatments. These pieces demonstrate the label’s approach to the women’s market: bold yet sophisticated silhouettes.

Men’s shoes: 1970s-inspired loafers and boots

Sneakerheads and style enthusiasts will appreciate the vintage influence on display. The Salon Loafer offers a modern take on the Cuban-heel loafers of the 1970s, and the Antonio Boot has a slim, refined profile with a similar heel. A unisex leather slipper rounds out the collection. Please note that these items prioritize vegetable-tanned leathers and cow aniline linings and do not use any exotic skins.

Production strategy and Made-in-Portugal craftsmanship

Willy Chavarria has partnered with APICAPPS to oversee manufacturing in Portugal. This partnership ensures high-quality production in dedicated men’s and women’s factories. Rather than flooding the market instantly, the brand plans a careful rollout to specialty stores and direct-to-consumer channels. The goal is to allow the footwear category to grow naturally alongside the ready-to-wear garments.
