Undercover x Vans OTW’s latest collaborative capsule for Fall/Winter 2024 is a testament to their shared rebellious spirit and innovative approach to design. The four-pack, consisting of two Vans Era and two Sk8-Mid colorways, seamlessly blends the hallmarks of both brands.
The Sk8-Mid silhouettes feature Undercover’s iconic “Anarchy Is The Key” slogan, a phrase that has been a staple of the brand since the 90s. Artist and model Briseppe flaunts the red and blue versions, which feature the slogan in a repetitive, broken and inverted typography reminiscent of the brand’s coveted t-shirts.
On the other hand, the Vans Era colorways pay homage to Undercover’s Dracula motif, with eerie hand graphics adorned with painted nails adorning the classic check pattern. The black and white iteration stays true to the iconic checkerboard design, while the black and red embraces a bloodsucking theme that perfectly complements the Dracula-inspired aesthetic. Undercover branding on the side of the midsole adds a subtle yet distinctive touch to this eye-catching sneaker.
The Undercover x Vans OTW Fall/Winter 2024 capsule will be released first on undercoverism.com on July 13th, followed by a wider release on otw.vans.com on July 16th, with prices ranging from $95-$100 USD. Meanwhile, the ”Black/Red” Vans Era and the ”Black/Blue” Sk8-Mid are exclusive to undercoverism.com.
