Giorgio Armani’s first Chinese café in Beijing combines design inspired by the 1930s and 1940s with urban sophistication. Located in the China World Shopping Mall, the space blends Italian culinary traditions with the brand’s signature aesthetic.
When Giorgio Armani opened his first Armani/Caffè in Paris more than two decades ago, he envisioned a space where fashion and gastronomy could coexist seamlessly. That vision now extends to Beijing’s bustling central business district, where the designer’s latest venture occupies a 3,767-square-foot (350 m²) space with seating for 150 guests in the China World Shopping Mall.

It is the fashion house’s first restaurant in China and joins 23 other Armani restaurants worldwide, from Tokyo to Dubai, from Cannes to New York.
It has a main entrance on the third floor of the large department store, but unlike typical café formats, the location doubles as an extension of the Giorgio Armani boutique on the floors below, accessible by a private elevator.
The interior channels mid-century glamour with gilded metal walls, light blue and gold palm print wallpaper, bronze mirrors and terrazzo floors edged with champagne-colored metal. Selected pieces from the Armani/Casa collection enhance the environment and demonstrate the brand’s comprehensive approach to luxury living.

Two distinct dining areas – one intimate, the other expansive – flank an open wine cellar, while natural light streams through windows overlooking an outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy al fresco dining.
The new Armani/Caffè strengthens the luxury brand‘s presence in China’s capital while offering locals and visitors alike an authentic taste of Italian elegance.
