Sabrina Carpenter appears on the March 2025 cover of Vogue US, photographed by Steven Meisel. She wears a custom-made powder blue satin minidress by Dolce & Gabbana. The dress features a textured cone bra and laced bustier, reminiscent of Madonna’s iconic Jean Paul Gaultier ensemble from her 1990 Blond Ambition tour performance in the Netherlands. While Madonna accessorized her look with red lipstick, pastel eye shadow and tight golden blonde curls, Carpenter opted for a bronzed orange lip and sharp winged eyeliner. Her icy platinum blonde locks evoke the timeless style of Marilyn Monroe.

For the cover story, stylist Ib Kamara dressed the 25-year-old chart-topping singer in designs from labels including Gucci, Prada, LaPointe, Burberry and Chanel. Hairstyling was by Guido Palau, make-up by Pat McGrath and manicure by Jin Soon Choi. The set was designed by Mary Howard and produced by PRODn.
In her interview with Abby Aguirre, Carpenter opened up about her deep admiration for women who fully embrace their aesthetic. Reflecting on the making of her “Short n’ Sweet” album, released last year, she said, “I remember feeling inspired by images of women that felt very strong and hyperfeminine.” She added, “And then being like: ‘If only she said what she was actually thinking.’“
