Hwang spent months transforming recycled ribbons, cotton and linen into delicate threads, then meticulously arranging them into floral embellishments. He incorporated a mix of chiffon, georgette, and crochet to create voluminous peplums, adding a touch of sensuality to the silhouettes. This dedication to handwork reflects Hwang’s desire to return to the core values of craft and explore the potential of manipulating fabric on a micro scale.
