Juun.J has chosen the renowned Arab World Institute in Paris as the location to unveil his Fall/Winter 2023 collection. The collection is themed “Broken” and its creative director, South Korean designer Wookjun Jung, has stated that the collection aims to express an “atypical aesthetic” from various perspectives.
The event was held in an awe-inspiring space with tall pillars and contrasting lighting, displaying 40 pieces made of leather, denim, jersey, and wool materials that feature design elements such as worn and deconstructed garments.
Juun.J has reimagined items like military, rider and denim garments to create new shapes by breaking conventions, and by giving new life to old, worn out and damaged items to create a sense of beauty through deconstruction. The color palette of the collection is composed of black, brown, green and blue.
