The Puma Mostro, a groundbreaking sneaker that has captivated footwear enthusiasts since its introduction in 1999, makes a triumphant return with two electrifying new colorways: “Pink Delight” and ”Ignite Blue.” Named after the Italian word for monster, this iconic silhouette embodies a daring hybrid design that seamlessly blends the sleek and rugged sprint spikes of the ’60s with the laid-back surf shoes of the ’80s.

One of Puma’s most distinctive and innovative creations, the Mostro boasts a low-profile style characterized by its signature spiked sole and forefoot strap closure. These defining features have solidified the Mostro’s status as a true standout in the sneaker world. Earlier this year, the experimental shoe debuted in a light gray and yellow colorway, and now it’s ready to take the stage again for its second drop in two neon variations.
The official return of the Mostro was captured through the lens of photographer Chris Maggio in New York City, showcasing the silhouette’s versatility as it accompanied several unique city dwellers in their daily lives. The Mostro then took center stage at Puma’s “Welcome to the Amazing Mostro Show,” a runway experience that kicked off New York Fashion Week with a bang.
The new Puma Mostro colorways will be available at select retailers worldwide starting March 23rd, 2024, including Kith, Slam Jam, LN-CC, END. Clothing, SSENSE, WORKSOUT.
