Fashion and food collide in the idyllic setting of Saint-Tropez with the return of Louis Vuitton‘s summer pop-up restaurant. Located on the famed Place des Lices at the White 1921 Hotel, this open-air oasis offers a delightful culinary experience under the Mediterranean sun, orchestrated by a powerful culinary duo.
For the second year in a row, Michelin-starred chef Arnaud Donckele and pastry chef extraordinaire Maxime Frédéric reunite to tantalize the palate with their distinct talents. Donckele, known for his masterful interpretations of Mediterranean cuisine, brings a touch of coastal charm to the menu. Frédéric, meanwhile, works his magic with classic French desserts reimagined with a touch of modern flair.
The setting itself is a feast for the senses. The 40-seat terrace is bathed in summer glow, adorned with elegant rattan furniture and accented with delicate macramé accents. The iconic Louis Vuitton monogram, in the vibrant coral, orange and fuchsia hues of the Resort 2024 collection, adorns everything from the tableware to the surrounding décor. The theme extends to a limited-edition dinnerware collection featuring a whimsical tropical design of flowers, coral and starfish that guests can take home as a memento of their experience. The collection is available at the nearby Louis Vuitton store and will be rolled out worldwide soon.

But the pampering doesn’t stop there. For those who want to truly immerse themselves in the Louis Vuitton experience, the adjacent boutique features the complete LV By the Pool resort collection of ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes and accessories. After a whirlwind of shopping, guests can relax with a refreshing drink in the adjacent garden. And for those seeking a touch of personal luxury, a customized Mini Moke vehicle is available upon request to transport guests between the store and other destinations.
The Saint-Tropez pop-up marks the beginning of Louis Vuitton‘s summer activations, a global series of restaurants, cafes and poolside experiences. From Miami to Macau, fashionistas can expect a summer of immersive experiences that combine culinary delights with the brand’s signature style. A temporary Louis Vuitton bar will also open in Taormina, Italy in June, extending the summer soiree.
Louis Vuitton opened its first branded café and restaurant at its flagship boutique in Osaka, Japan, in 2020, with other locations in Tokyo, Chengdu, China, Doha, Qatar, Bangkok and Paris, where Frédéric oversees a signature café and chocolate shop in the LV Dream exhibition space.
