Louis Vuitton has announced its latest sneaker: the LV Sneakerina.
Set for an online pre-launch on April 4th, this groundbreaking silhouette represents Louis Vuitton‘s entry into the increasingly popular ballet-inspired athletic footwear category.
The LV Sneakerina is distinguished by its technical construction. The design incorporates Sacchetto construction, a technique borrowed directly from traditional ballet shoes, creating a remarkably flexible sole that conforms to the foot. Meanwhile, laced uppers with the iconic LV logo provide the structure and brand recognition that luxury consumers demand. Practical details haven’t been overlooked either, with a functional pull tab at the heel for easy on/off.
The collection includes vibrant forest green and striking fuchsia colorways, as well as more versatile beige, black and white options. Material variations include technical mesh, specialty satin, premium leather and additional finishes.
This strategic product launch continues Louis Vuitton‘s aggressive expansion in the luxury sneaker segment. Following the online pre-launch, the styles will be available in stores worldwide on April 11th at an undisclosed price.
