French fashion label Jacquemus has taken a significant step in its global expansion with the opening of its first store in the Middle East. The brand’s founder and designer, Simon Porte Jacquemus, expressed his excitement for this new chapter, saying, “I am thrilled to announce the opening of our first boutique in the Middle East, in the Dubai Mall.” This milestone marks another step in Jacquemus’ growing partnership with the region, with more developments on the horizon.
The impressive 3,000-square-foot (280 m2) boutique, located in the heart of Dubai, is the brand’s third permanent store, following its flagship on Avenue Montaigne in Paris and another in Korea. The space is a direct reflection of Jacquemus’ unique vision, transporting visitors to the designer’s native Provence through a carefully curated palette of natural textures, including a brick facade, travertine and wood.

To further emphasize the brand’s French roots, the Dubai boutique features artwork and décor from Jacquemus’ home country. Visitors will find the Croisillon dining chair, a revival piece by designer Jean Royère, and exquisite Anduze pottery handmade by the family-owned Le Chêne Vert workshop. These elements blend seamlessly with the store’s overall aesthetic, creating an immersive and authentic experience for shoppers.
The retail space, designed by Ellen van Loon and Giulio Margheri of AMO, serves as a warm, monochromatic backdrop for Jacquemus’ latest men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, bags, shoes and accessories collections. The boutique’s curvilinear shapes, wide arches and asymmetrical lines perfectly encapsulate the brand’s signature playful style and invite customers to explore and engage with the collections in a unique environment.
Jacquemus‘ partnership with the Chalhoub Group was instrumental in bringing this project to fruition. The brand had already established an online presence in the region last December, making its e-shop accessible to customers in the United Arab Emirates.
