The collection, aptly named “PLUTO,” is inspired by the diminutive planet and reflects the power and transformative nature of cosmic systems. This theme resonates throughout each garment, infusing the designs with a sense of wonder and exploration. Music, an integral part of Future’s artistic identity, also plays a significant role in the collection, paying homage to Jeanne Lanvin’s entertainment aspirations.
With a unisex range, Lanvin Lab emphasizes inclusivity and versatility. The collection is led by sophisticated outerwear with embellished accents and a rock n’ roll flair. Future himself is featured against a minimalist backdrop, wearing studded leather jackets adorned with connecting stars. These statement pieces are complemented by tailored trousers for a sleek and refined look.
For a touch of nostalgia, the collection includes 1940s-inspired faded denim overalls embellished with monogrammed brand lettering. This blend of vintage and modern aesthetics exemplifies the innovative spirit of Lanvin Lab. Graphic t-shirts and bold buckle belts enhance the apparel, while the accessories line features confident eagles embossed on leather bags and darkened frames, adding an edge to the collection.
A standout piece in the collection is the updated Curb 3.0 sneaker. Featuring suede uppers, puffed tongues and gum soles, these sneakers embody the essence of contemporary streetwear while maintaining Lanvin‘s luxurious appeal.
This groundbreaking collection will be released in multiple drops in November and early 2024. This staggered launch strategy not only builds anticipation, but also allows fashion enthusiasts to gradually immerse themselves in the world of Lanvin Lab.
