After a meticulous 15-year search for the perfect location, Dries Van Noten has finally opened his first New York store at 168 Mercer Street. The boutique opened its doors on April 18th, bringing his distinctive aesthetic to the heart of Manhattan.
The Dries Van Noten New York boutique features dramatic 23-foot (7-meter) ceilings and a thoughtfully designed, narrow, elongated layout. Throughout the store, you will discover antique furnishings placed alongside remarkable artworks, including 16th century paintings and contemporary installations by fellow Belgian artist Ben Storms.
The New York flagship carries Dries Van Noten’s full men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections, as well as the house’s signature accessories and beauty products.
The opening is part of a broader expansion strategy for the fashion house. The New York location follows the recent opening of a boutique in London and precedes an upcoming store in Milan, signaling the brand’s growing international retail presence.
