Dior Men‘s Artistic director Kim Jones has once again teamed up with renowned artist Kaws to present a new menswear collection celebrating the Year of the Snake as part of the Cruise 2025 (Resort 2025) drop. The collaboration brings fashion and art together, continuing a partnership that began in 2018.
In 2018, shortly after Jones joined Dior, he and Kaws unveiled the Spring/Summer 2019 collection centered around a stunning 33-foot sculpture made of flowers. Kaws reimagined Dior’s signature bee motif, creating a limited-edition capsule that resonated with fashion enthusiasts.
Now, six years later, the duo returns with a vibrant collection that transforms the Dior name into snake-like shapes. The range includes pastel varsity jackets, quilted coats, red cardigans, button-ups and track pants. The snake motif is intricately woven into the Dior “CD” initials on both apparel and accessories, adding a dynamic touch to the pieces.
Footwear options expand with new colorways of the B33 and B57 sneakers and the introduction of the B35 NXXT. This chunky shoe pays homage to Kaws’ roots in skateboarding and graffiti culture. Available in eye-catching colors like neon yellow and red, the sneakers complement the collection’s bold aesthetic.
“I wanted to have something fun and pop. It’s a bit like Pop Art,” Jones said of the project.
Jones has consistently explored the intersection of art and fashion through partnerships with various artists. In addition to Kaws, he has collaborated with Daniel Arsham, Kenny Scharf, Hajime Sorayama, Peter Doig and, most recently, South African master potter Hylton Nel for the Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
The collection will arrive in Dior stores on January 2nd, with prices starting at €270 EUR for a tie and going up to €8,800 EUR for a jacket with patches. Bags are available from €1,700 EUR for a Mini Rider messenger bag to €2,500 EUR for a backpack, while shoes range from €990 EUR for the B33 sneakers to €1,250 EUR for the B57s.
