The unveiling of the Coperni Pre-Fall 2023 collection is a testament to the power of femininity and style. Diverse and talented, Ylang Messenguiral, Ines Boullant (u.r.trax), and Nina Zem take center stage, their individual talents – model, DJ, and actress – respectively, perfectly encapsulating the essence of Coperni’s vision for empowered women.
The Coperni Pre-Fall 2023 collection comes to life through the eyes of three extraordinary women, each with a unique relationship to the brand. Their diverse talents and backgrounds make them ideal ambassadors for the range, captured by Pierre-Ange Carlotti, a long-time friend of Coperni. The lookbook, set against the grand backdrop of a monumental USM Haller furniture installation, is a tribute to the notions of community and friendship, also marking the rekindled collaboration between the design furniture company and Coperni.
This collection sees the embodiment of Coperni‘s signature concepts of speed and movement in items like cut-out motorcycle leather jackets and new racing trousers. These pieces, coupled with tailored outfits, beautifully reflect the brand’s techno-chic DNA. The cut-out designs are ingeniously reimagined into leather-shirt combos, with an electric print mirroring a fast-paced, technical universe. The color palette includes royal blue and lime green, featured in lace pants and a mesh top.
Classic styles have been reinvented, with pieces like the belted tailoring jacket and the asymmetric mini dress now available in a balancing beige. A uniquely feminine touch is added to the cargo skirt, which features a front opening. Unprecedented hybrids of shearling and leather mark a first for Coperni, resulting in brand new styles. Footwear such as cowboy boots, heels, and new clog wedges flaunt fur adornments, while new aviator jackets and sunglasses further strengthen this powerful, furry silhouette.
In a nod to the digital era, Coperni introduces a standout accessory: the Emoji bag. This meticulously crafted piece mirrors the shape and texture of the universally recognizable bag emoji found on our phone keyboards.
The minimal tailoring cape, spotted at the last show, is now reimagined as a more casual, dark blue denim piece. This transformation introduces a new wave of denim garments to the Coperni Pre-Fall 2023 collection, further broadening the brand’s versatile offerings.
