Coach Love, the brand’s newest eau de parfum for women, is now gracing the shelves. You can find Coach Love in various sizes: 30 ml, 50 ml and 90 ml.
Philippe Benacin of Inter Parfums Inc., the force behind this aromatic creation, highlights how Coach‘s fragrance enterprise has witnessed an upsurge, emphasizing its significance in their vast portfolio. “The U.S. represents about 40 percent of the Coach business“, Benacin shared. “This is the third fragrance in our first franchise, and we wanted something more in the spirit of the market with Coach Love“.
Entrust your senses to a symphony of notes crafted by Givaudan’s renowned perfumer, Antoine Maisondieu. The opening is a tantalizing dance of wild strawberry, mandarin, and a playful hint of pink pepper leaves. As you delve deeper, the heart reveals luxurious red velvet rose harmonizing with the exotic Indian sambac jasmine and delicate osmanthus flowers. A foundation of cedarwood, benzoin resinoid, and mysterious gray amber provides a lingering warmth. As Benacin puts it, “Love is very elegant and softer than the former one. And we wanted to make it more international in terms of audience. In terms of fragrance, and less American in our targeting“.
Interestingly, the unique charm of Coach isn’t restricted to its fragrances alone. Delving into the brand’s wide-reaching influence, Benacin points out, “All American women have a Coach bag in their house”. This universal appeal is evident in their recent campaign lensed by Juergen Teller. Aimed at projecting genuine affection and Coach’s signature style, it strikes a chord with audiences globally, be it Europe or Asia.
Stuart Vevers, Coach’s Creative firector, encapsulated the essence of the fragrance and campaign saying, “Coach Love celebrates freedom of expression and all the ways we share affection with our loved ones. To evoke this feeling in the campaign, instinctively I knew Juergen Teller would be able to capture candid snapshots of intimacy in a way that also speaks to the charismatic nature of the scent. Together, the fragrance and the imagery play on the tension between individuality and togetherness, and captures my belief that when we authentically express ourselves, we can inspire others to do the same“.
Amidst the excitement of the Coach Love launch, there’s another feather in Coach’s cap. Tapestry, Coach’s parent entity, recently inked an impressive $8.5 billion USD deal to acquire Capri, which oversees iconic brands like Jimmy Choo, Michael Kors and Versace.
