Cillian Murphy and Anne Hathaway, two of the most celebrated actors of our generation, have been unveiled as the faces of Versace’s latest ‘Icon‘ 2024 campaign. The Oscar-winning duo bring their undeniable star power to the Italian fashion house’s freshly minted collection, showcasing a series of standout silhouettes that embody the essence of Versace.
Shot by renowned fashion photographers Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, the campaign features a captivating mix of color and black-and-white imagery. Hathaway, a longtime Versace muse who has graced numerous high-profile red carpet events in the brand’s designs, exudes confidence and strength in powerful staples such as leather corset dresses, gold-buttoned coats and flagship bags.
Murphy, who is also known for his acting skills, makes his debut as a Versace campaign star. The Irish actor, who collaborated with Donatella Versace on the soundtrack for the accompanying video ad, wears a range of Versace essentials including crisp white tank tops, sleek black coats, Medusa buckled belts and iconic Baroque-printed scarves.
Donatella Versace, the driving force behind the brand, praised the pair as “very Versace“, describing them as “strong, direct, iconic“. She added: “For me, Anne and Cillian are two of the best actors of today. Exceptionally talented and kind people I admire and respect, looking their best.”

Hathaway, who starred in Versace ‘Icons‘ campaign last year, shared her thoughts on the Versace woman: “I have observed that a Versace Woman is herself. I am so thrilled and honored to be considered a Versace Woman and am overjoyed to reunite with the Versace family for another Icons campaign.”
Murphy, a newcomer to the brand’s campaigns, said, “Collaborating with Donatella – from sharing image references to selecting the music of Fountains D.C. for the video – resulted in a campaign that reflects who I am. The collection of well cut empowering designs made from great fabric suits me perfectly.”
