Prada has announced South Korean actor Byeon Woo-seok as its latest brand ambassador. The Italian luxury house continues to deepen its ties with South Korea’s vibrant entertainment industry by signing on the 33-year-old star. Byeon Woo-seok, known for his breakthrough role as Ryu Sun-jae in the television series “Lovely Runner,” has rapidly risen in popularity, amassing over 11 million followers on Instagram.

The actor began his career as a fashion model before transitioning to acting, where he gained recognition in 2016 with the drama “Dear My Friends.” Since then, he has appeared in notable series such as “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” “Record of Youth,” and “Moonshine.

Byeon Woo-seok attended Prada’s Men’s Spring/Summer 2025 show in Milan last June, signaling the burgeoning relationship between the actor and the brand.

In his new role, Byeon Woo-seok joins an esteemed group of Prada ambassadors, including fellow South Korean artists Karina of Aespa, actress Kim Tae-ri, singer Jeon So-mi and Sana Minatozaki of Twice. International ambassadors such as Harris Dickinson, Damson Idris, Hunter Schafer, Letitia Wright, Jia Ling and Ma Yili are also part of Prada’s global representation.
