Armani Privé unveiled its Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025 collection in Paris, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the haute couture line with a dazzling homage to global cultures. Held at the newly unveiled Palazzo Armani, the show was a masterclass in sophisticated elegance, blending the designer’s signature minimalism with bold, expressive details.
Armani’s latest collection was inspired by the rich aesthetics of Japan, China, India, North Africa and Polynesia. These influences were subtly etched into the silhouettes, with shimmering fabrics, intricate embroidery and sparkling beads bringing the designs to life. Titled “Lumières,” the collection celebrated light in its many forms, from the fluid surfaces of draped gowns to the ethereal glow of sequined pantsuits.

The show featured 94 outfits, each offering a unique interpretation of Armani‘s vision. Watercolor pastels mixed with vibrant blues and reds to create a palette that flattered a range of complexions. While body-conscious gowns dominated, Armani also showcased his expertise in tailoring with simple cardigan-style jackets and vests paired with trousers tucked into sheer boots. The designer’s signature pantsuits were reimagined with imaginative textures and embellishments, proving that comfort and glamour can coexist seamlessly.
Armani’s ability to blend diverse cultural references while maintaining his minimalist aesthetic was on full display. The collection was a testament to his belief that fashion should reflect the beauty of the world. As he noted in his press release, the designs were aimed at a well-traveled woman who wears her experiences as glimmers of beauty on her body.
The setting of the show, the Palazzo Armani, added to the grandeur of the event. The ornate salons, with their gilded details and opalescent corridors, provided a fitting backdrop for the shimmering couture. Models paused and turned in the small, luxurious rooms, allowing the audience to fully appreciate the intricate craftsmanship of each piece.
