As usual, Harper’s Bazaar US dropped its sixth annual ICONS edition for the September 2019 – the most important month on the fashion calendar. Singer/songwriter Alicia Keys and supermodel Christy Turlington land this year’s cover, which was shot by photographer Mario Sorrenti. Alicia strikes a pose in Salvatore Ferragamo on the newsstand cover (above). Subscribers cover get a Christy cover with the 90s supermodel decked out in Celine (below).
In the cover story, Alicia Keys and Christy Turlington were joined by Alek Wek, Celine Dion, Lakeith Stanfield, Devon Aoki, Shailene Woodley, Awkwafina, Kate Moss and Regina King. Carine Roitfeld selected the designs of Max Mara, Michael Kors Collection, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, Richard Quinn, Valentino, Fendi, Marc Jacobs, Dior, Givenchy, Gucci, Tom Ford, Alexander McQueen and Balenciaga.
