adidas SPZL, the beloved footwear label, celebrates its 10th anniversary in style with the Decade pack. This special collection, curated by Gary Aspden, pays homage to the brand’s rich heritage while showcasing its present and future through the reimagining of four iconic silhouettes: the Garwen SPZL, Lacombe SPZL, Blackburn SPZL and Ardwick SPZL.
Originally inspired by the adidas Brisbane casual shoe, the Garwen SPZL gets a fresh update in a tan, putty and gum colorway. The leather upper is complemented by matching suede accents, toe box perforations and metal Trefoil branding for a timeless and sophisticated look.

Next, the Lacombe SPZL makes a comeback in a crisp white, chalk white and dark blue colorway. This iteration features a breathable mesh tongue with patent leather branding, a nod to vintage Made in France shoes, and a suede toe box that pays tribute to adidas’ extensive court shoe history.
The Blackburn SPZL, which had fans waiting in line overnight during its initial release in 2019, combines elements from its previous iterations. This revised model features a forest green suede upper, a night navy tongue and flock stripes. Gold foil prints of the Lancashire Rose and the SPZL Mod Trefoil add a touch of elegance to the design.
Last but not least, the Ardwick SPZL, first introduced in 2014 as a limited edition of 500 pairs in collaboration with now closed Manchester stockist Oi Polloi, makes a triumphant return. The anniversary version features an adjusted shape, revised toe, new tongue branding and flock stripes with a revised chocolate brown foxing against the iconic moss green colorway. Staying true to its roots, the upper uses reverse leather, resulting in unique color variations between pairs.
The adidas SPZL Decade pack is available now at select retailers and CONFIRMED, giving sneaker enthusiasts the opportunity to own a piece of adidas history.
