The partnership between adidas Originals and JJJJound is back with a new version of the iconic Superstar sneaker.
The collaboration showcases two premium iterations of the classic silhouette, both made at the German sportswear brand’s prestigious Scheinfeld factory. The collaboration offers two different colorways of the Superstar sneaker. The white version with black stripes is based on the Superstar 82 model, while the black version with white stripes is inspired by the Superstar II. These designs represent different eras in the evolution of this legendary shoe.
Each adidas Originals Superstar sneaker in this JJJJound collaboration features meticulous craftsmanship that reflects the Montreal collective’s meticulous approach to design. The sneakers feature leather wrapped shell toes and textured three stripe detailing. The rubber cup sole maintains the authentic design of the original Superstar, which was first released in 1970.
Both versions of the sneaker feature premium leather uppers, co-branded sockliners and custom vintage hangtags. The shoes come in special co-branded packaging with JJJJound tissue paper, emphasizing the collaborative nature of this release.
