adidas has unveiled the new Predator boot, a fresh design that combines the rich heritage of the franchise with modern technology for today’s players. The new Predator package features visuals that are reminiscent of the early 2000s, honoring 30 years of Predator excellence.
Fans of the 2002 Predator Mania will instantly recognize the champagne, red and black color scheme of the boots, now updated for a new upper silhouette. Red lines along the sides behind the three stripes pay homage to the 1998 Predator Accelerator.
Listening to player and fan feedback, adidas updated the new Predator to increase confidence in front of the goal. These changes set the stage for an all-new Predator model to be released in January 2025.
The boot is designed to score and features the latest adidas technology:
- CONTROLFRAME 2.0: A lightweight sole and heel design that increases traction for quick movement and stability when shooting.
- HYBRIDTOUCH 2.0: A refined upper provides a snug fit with cushioning in key areas for comfort and a soft touch on the ball.
- STRIKESKIN: Inspired by the Predator Mania, longer and more numerous rubber lugs are placed in the strike zones to grip the ball for precise shots.
- STRETCHABLE LACELESS PRIMEKNIT COLLAR: On laceless versions, this collar makes the boot easy to put on and ensures a secure fit.
The new Predator is available now in laced, laceless and fold-over tongue versions at adidas.com football boots and select adidas stores and retailers.
