Elie Saab Maison and Giobagnara have teamed up to launch a stunning home accessories collection that combines Italian craftsmanship with haute couture elegance. This exclusive line, made in Italy, celebrates refined luxury and timeless design, offering a range of pieces that enhance any living space with beauty and practicality. The collaboration includes trays, valet boxes, coasters and more, each adorned with Giobagnara’s renowned leatherwork and the signature Elie Saab monogram.
“This collaboration has allowed us to explore new creative possibilities while maintaining the quality and craftsmanship Giobagnara is known for,” said Giorgio Bagnara, founder of Giobagnara. The collection combines neutral tones with vibrant accents, in keeping with the trend of minimalist luxury. Each piece is designed to offer both aesthetic appeal and functionality, making it perfect for those seeking understated sophistication in their homes.
Elie Saab, known for its exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail, brings its signature elegance and timeless style to everyday living through this collaboration. The collection includes intricately crafted leather trays and elegant chess sets, bringing together two leaders in their respective fields.
Founded in 1999 by Giorgio Bagnara, Giobagnara is celebrated for its elegant and luxurious creations that embody sophistication without ostentation. The brand’s artisanal, made-in-Italy craftsmanship blends traditional techniques with cutting-edge technologies, offering an extensive range of premium leathers and suedes. Giobagnara’s reputation for expert leather craftsmanship has made it a trusted partner for interior designers and specialists in yacht and private jet design, delivering bespoke commissions tailored to unique specifications.
In 2015, Giobagnara expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of Rabitti1969, a brand specializing in saddle leather that is also committed to artisanal Made in Italy craftsmanship. This was followed in 2017 by a strategic collaboration with French designer Stéphane Parmentier, who became creative director of Giobagnara and its affiliated brands, further enhancing their luxury appeal. In 2018, the company strengthened its offering with the acquisition of Pigment France, known for its expertise in leather upholstery and artisanal weaving of wicker, rattan and straw. In 2022, Giobagnara added the Italian luxury lifestyle brand Riviere to its portfolio, reinforcing its commitment to Made in Italy craftsmanship and its international leadership in the luxury sector. Today, Giobagnara employs over 150 people and delivers exceptional quality leather home goods worldwide.
Elie Saab Maison now offers a range of home accessories for its luxury residences from Riyadh to London. The house’s collaboration with Italian design house Giobagnara debuted at Maison&Objet in September and will continue for a second season. Based in Genoa, Italy, Giobagnara works with some of the world’s most exclusive hospitality brands, and this collaboration marks a significant step for Elie Saab Maison in its efforts to expand its offerings to include a range of luxurious gift items.
The sophisticated selection includes more than two dozen handcrafted designs with fashion-forward accents, with standout pieces including a chess set with Carrara and Marquina marble pieces and a table lamp wrapped in monogrammed leather.
“This collaboration highlights our versatility in luxury home décor and allows customers to experience Giobagnara’s craftsmanship throughout their homes,” said Giorgio Bagnara, CEO and founder of Giobagnara, who founded the Genoa-based company in the ’90s with the idea of bringing fashion materials to home décor.
This strategic move into home décor gives Elie Saab the opportunity to offer customers a complete lifestyle experience.
“Together, we are introducing an exclusive collection of home accessories that combine functionality with timeless design. Covering categories such as gaming, gifting, office and home decor, this collaboration allows us to offer a selection of luxury accessories that meet the sophisticated tastes of our clientele. By diversifying into complementary product lines, we are further strengthening our brand’s presence in the world of sophisticated living,” Elie Saab said in a statement.
Elie Saab was founded in 1982 as a couture house in Beirut, Lebanon. The maison expanded into interior design in 2019 after signing a licensing agreement with Swiss home design company Corporate Brand, a strategic move that added furniture and interior design projects to its existing ready-to-wear and haute couture operations.
Elie Saab Maison has been involved in real estate projects around the globe, with branded villas and residences in key cities such as Dubai and Doha, as well as Saffire by Elie Saab in São Paulo and Elie Saab Residences Hyde Park in London.
Earlier this month, Giobagnara unveiled a collection with Los Angeles interior designer Kelly Wearstler, marking her debut in the world of bar accessories.
