Victoria Song, the renowned Chinese actress and singer and a member of the K-pop girl group f(x), has been named the global ambassador for Jimmy Choo, the British luxury footwear and accessories brand.
With a massive following of over 49 million on Weibo and her name garnering over 910 million impressions on Chinese social commerce platform Xiaohongshu, Song’s influence and popularity is undeniable.
Song’s journey with Jimmy Choo began in 2018, when she was appointed as the brand’s ambassador for the Asia Pacific region. Her partnership with the brand grew stronger in 2019 when she collaborated with Jimmy Choo’s Creative director, Sandra Choi, to create a series of limited edition bags.
Expressing her excitement about her new role, Song said, “I am excited and honored to return to the Jimmy Choo family embarking on a new chapter as global brand ambassador. I admire the joy, glamour and craftsmanship of the brand. I always feel confident and empowered when I am wearing Jimmy Choo.”
As part of her new role, Song will be the face of Jimmy Choo’s I Want Choo fragrance line, which launches in January 2021. The fragrance is a captivating blend of floral and citrus notes, with mandarin juice and velvety peach as top notes, red spider lily and jasmine sambac as middle notes, and vanilla, benzoin and resinoid as base notes.
Sandra Choi, Jimmy Choo’s Creative director, expressed her admiration for Song, saying, “Victoria has been a friend of the brand for many years. We have always admired her talent, energy and style and are thrilled to welcome her as our global brand ambassador and face of our A Want Choo fragrance portfolio.”
In addition to her role as Jimmy Choo’s global ambassador, Song is also the house ambassador for Louis Vuitton in China and has collaborated with renowned brands such as Moncler, Cartier and Evisu.
