Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2027 Trunk Editions campaign features British actor Callum Turner and was photographed in New York City by Gregory Harris. The capsule was designed by Pharrell Williams and includes cotton silk shirting cashmere outerwear and cotton cashmere denim. Turner has served as a Louis Vuitton ambassador since 2024.

Louis Vuitton has returned to its Trunk Editions concept for Spring/Summer 2027, once again using Callum Turner to frame the collection through everyday situations rather than formal fashion imagery. The new Louis Vuitton trunk campaign presents the British actor reading a newspaper, spending time with a dog, having breakfast and practising his putting in New York.

The approach keeps the focus on clothes meant to work across different parts of a day. Turner wears cotton silk poplin shirts, double face cashmere outerwear and indigo washed cotton cashmere denim. These are familiar wardrobe categories, but the fabric choices and finish place them clearly within the luxury market.

Pharrell Williams introduced Trunk Editions as a way to connect contemporary menswear with Louis Vuitton’s long history in travel goods. That link is not expressed through literal luggage in every image. Instead, the collection treats the idea of a trunk as a compact wardrobe with useful pieces selected to cover several settings without relying on obvious novelty.

Gregory Harris photographed the campaign on film in New York City. The images place Turner in calm interiors and low key daily routines. One sequence shows him with a Rhodesian ridgeback, continuing a canine theme seen in an earlier Vuitton campaign. A short film also puts the pair opposite each other over a chessboard, adding a dry sense of humor without changing the restrained character of the clothes.

For Turner, the casting also fits his background. Before his acting career became established, he worked as a model in his teens and later as a sales assistant at Dover Street Market in London. He became a Louis Vuitton ambassador in 2024 and has previously appeared in advertising for other luxury names, including Burberry and Montblanc.

His current screen profile gives the campaign additional visibility. Turner is set to lead Apple TV+’s adaptation of William Gibson’s “Neuromancer,” and he is also attached to “The Comebacker” alongside Tom Hanks. Yet the Vuitton images do not lean heavily on celebrity status. They are built around recognisable actions and straightforward styling.

That restraint is significant. Luxury menswear campaigns often have to balance product clarity with a strong visual identity. Here, the clothes are easy to read. The cashmere coats look soft but structured, the shirts remain clean and familiar, and the denim introduces a more casual option without breaking the collection’s polished direction.

The strongest part of the campaign is its consistency. Turner’s wardrobe changes, but the setting and attitude remain controlled. You can see how the pieces relate to one another without the images becoming catalogue like. The result is a clear presentation of Spring/Summer 2027 menswear that connects Louis Vuitton’s heritage with a practical idea of dressing now.
