The Air Max 1000 “Lilac” marks another chapter in Zellerfeld’s radical approach to sneaker design. This 3D-printed silhouette represents the intersection of cutting-edge technology and Nike‘s legendary Air Max heritage.

Zellerfeld briefly teased the monochromatic purple edition on its website before taking it down. The sneaker maintains the same futuristic design that made the initial black and oatmeal colorways instant conversation starters earlier this year. Every surface is drenched in lilac purple, creating a uniform aesthetic that feels fresh yet deliberately understated.
The visible Air unit at the heel contrasts with the monochrome design with a bright crimson accent. The red stands out against the purple base, giving the shoe a focal point that draws the eye without overwhelming the design.

These aren’t your typical mass-produced sneakers. Zellerfeld 3D prints each pair, so production numbers stay low. Previous Black and Oat releases reached only a handful of buyers, making them some of the most exclusive Nike collaborations of 2025.
With a price point of $179, the Air Max 1000 “Lilac” is more affordable than many other premium sneaker releases. This accessibility is important when you consider the innovation packed into each pair. The fully printed construction eliminates traditional manufacturing constraints and opens possibilities for future colorways and modifications that standard production methods can’t match.
