In a chic collaboration, Louis Vuitton warmly embraces a fresh, talented persona.
Louis Vuitton, an emblem of luxury, unveiled the inclusion of Felix, the shining star from Stray Kids, as their freshest house ambassador on the 22nd of August. The news arrived like a sartorial symphony, establishing Felix not just as a colossal force in the music arena, but now also as an icon in the global fashion panorama.
Nicolas Ghesquière, the visionary artistic director of women’s collections at Vuitton, relayed a fascinating tale of their first encounter. “I discovered Felix when I presented my pre-fall collection in Seoul,” Ghesquière reminisced. “It instantly clicked between us. He is really talented. I love his energy, his unique personality and his audacious sense of style.”
To commemorate this alliance, Louis Vuitton enraptured its followers with a cinematic visual series. A portrayal of Felix, bathed in an opulent mix of denim, leather, and PVC, epitomized elegance in a noir ensemble. The brand’s sentiment resonated on their social platform: “The Maison, alongside @NicolasGhesquiere, takes immense pleasure in welcoming the South Korean vocal-rapper-dancer and esteemed @realstraykids band member @yong.lixx as a House Ambassador. His distinctive creative flair will undoubtedly infuse a fresh and vibrant spirit into this new chapter.”
This collaboration isn’t Felix’s solitary tryst with the fashion world. Close on its heels, Versace unveiled their alliance with Hyunjin, another prodigy from Stray Kids earlier this summer.
Hailing from Australia and solidifying his mark in South Korea, Felix is no stranger to the global limelight. As an integral member of Stray Kids, a band crafted by JYP Entertainment, he boasts a unique vocal prowess that complements the group’s eclectic fusion of hip-hop, EDM, funk, hardcore, R&B, and pop. With accolades like chart-topping albums and nominations for prestigious awards, their influence is undeniably expansive.
Yet, Felix’s rendezvous with fashion doesn’t stop at endorsements. He graced Ghesquière’s Cruise 2024 show on the picturesque Isola Bella last May. Moreover, the fashion maestro curated Felix’s ensemble for the Lollapalooza music festival in Paris.
