Pharrell Williams and his Humanrace brand have once again demonstrated their creative prowess through an exciting collaboration with Evian. The partnership has resulted in a limited-edition, all-gender, tennis-inspired apparel collection perfectly timed for the upcoming U.S. Open, which begins August 26th. Six months in the making and proudly made in the United States, the collection embodies the concept of joy and draws inspiration from the rich history of tennis fashion.
Humanrace co-founder and CEO Rachel Muscat says the collaboration with Evian, the official water sponsor of the U.S. Open for more than three decades, was a natural fit. The collection features a range of versatile and stylish athleisure pieces, including oversized tees, quarter zippers and an expandable bag, priced from $70 USD to $195 USD. These meticulously crafted items not only celebrate the spirit of the game, but also reflect Williams’ unique design aesthetic.
This collaboration marks another milestone in Williams’ ongoing relationship with Evian. In May, he contributed his song “Joy (Unspeakable)” with Voices of Fire to Evian’s ”Mountain of Youth” campaign. Williams’ deep connection to water is evident throughout his life and work, from growing up in the Atlantis community in Virginia Beach, to attending the oceanfront Neptune Festival with his grandmother, to forming the renowned record production duo The Neptunes with Chad Hugo.
Williams’ passion for wellness is at the core of Humanrace, a brand that has worked with household names like Dover Street Market and adidas. “We want to leave every category better than we found it,” says Williams, emphasizing his commitment to making a positive impact across industries.
Looking ahead, Williams hints at the exciting future of his partnership with Evian: “This is the beginning of the chapter.”
