Palomo Spain’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, titled “All of Heaven’s Parties,” is a celebration of sexuality, romance and the joyful embrace of pleasure. The show, held at the Fourth Universalist Society in New York City, was a glamorous event where designer Alejandro Gómez Palomo explored the interplay between human sexuality and rationality. This season, Palomo Spain‘s silhouettes were as experimental as ever, mixing genders with an added dose of excess and glamour.
The collection featured a stunning array of designs, from trousers adorned with cascading layers of metal fringe to knitwear embellished with embroidered chrysanthemums. An oversized leather blazer sparkled with crystals, while ultra-short leather shorts mimicked underwear. The designer’s interest in the Jazz Age and the ’30s was evident in the intricate craftsmanship, with piano-shawl-like fringes and tassels on satin tops, siren-like finale gowns, and swinging beaded bands on trousers.
Palomo’s collaboration with Bimba y Lola continued to shine, with bolder designs and a focus on glamour. The designer’s understanding of his community’s interpretation of love and sexuality was reflected in the collection’s transcendent beauty. The clothes challenged traditional notions of masculinity, asking why men can’t enjoy the same seductive touches as women, such as sequins and chiffon.
Palomo’s designs brought power and excitement to his work, making a statement about what a man should be and how he should appear to others. The collection also included upscale daywear, with organza t-shirts adorned with feathers and beaded tubes, perfect for earth angels and fewer options for mere mortals.
