Harris Reed‘s fourth collection for Nina Ricci solidifies his vision for the iconic French fashion house, combining timeless elegance with contemporary flair. Presented during Paris Fashion Week, the Spring/Summer 2025 collection demonstrated Reed’s growing confidence and understanding of the Nina Ricci woman.

Drawing inspiration from the brand’s 1960s archives, Reed presented a collection that seamlessly fused retro silhouettes with today’s sensibilities. The show opened with a series of impeccably tailored suits featuring softened shoulders and innovative back-baring cowl draping – a subtle nod to the designer’s penchant for drama while embracing a more fluid aesthetic.

The Nina Ricci Spring/Summer 2025 color palette remained true to Reed’s signature black and white, with pops of polka dots adding a playful touch. Miniskirts adorned with oversized bows and ruffles paid homage to the brand’s feminine roots, while ruffled cocktail dresses exuded a sense of carefree sophistication.

Eveningwear took center stage with a mix of sheer and lace creations that incorporated delicate corset details. A standout piece featured model Colin Jones in a striking black column gown, her face partially obscured by a panel of pleated tulle – a testament to Reed’s ability to create memorable, Instagram-worthy moments.

Reed’s commitment to inclusivity was evident in the diverse casting and expanded size range for his exuberant evening looks. This progressive approach sets Nina Ricci apart in the Paris fashion scene, where conversations about body diversity are still rare.

The collection also included nods to the brand’s new fragrance launch, Vénus, though Reed wisely avoided literal interpretations of the perfume’s golden shell-shaped bottle. Instead, he incorporated subtle references that complemented the overall aesthetic.

Accessories played a crucial role in completing the Nina Ricci Spring/Summer 2025 look. Saucer hats and draped chiffon headscarves added a touch of retro glamour, while leather opera gloves provided a contemporary edge.

As Reed continues to evolve the Nina Ricci brand, he maintains a delicate balance between honoring its heritage and pushing boundaries. The Spring/Summer 2025 collection demonstrates his growing understanding of the Nina Ricci woman – someone who appreciates classic Parisian style but isn’t afraid to make a statement.

With this latest offering, Harris Reed cements Nina Ricci’s position as a brand that appeals to multiple generations. From the youthful energy of miniskirts and crop tops to the sophisticated allure of tuxedo-inspired pieces, the collection offers something for every fashion-forward woman.
