As the “NY vs. NY” series returns, Nike is preparing to drop another Air Force 1 Low, a sneaker that embodies the essence of summer hoops in the Big Apple. The shoe’s design pays homage to the city’s vibrant basketball culture, where players from all five boroughs come together to battle it out on the court.
The “NY vs. NY” circuit, a Nike initiative that celebrates the spirit of street basketball, kicks off in June with a series of tournaments and games at various courts throughout the city. The design of the shoe is a nod to this beloved tradition, with the circuit’s logo emblazoned on the heel and tongue, rendered in a gradient of “Court Blue,” “Hyper Pink” and “Bright Mandarin” for a bold and eye-catching look.

The upper is predominantly white leather with patent leather accents on the swoosh, tongue and heel in a fresh Aquarius Blue. Blue gum soles provide a sleek contrast to the overall design, completing the shoe’s refreshing summer aesthetic.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “NY vs. NY” will release in June 2024 for $135 and will be available at nike.com and select retailers.
