Monica Barbaro is stepping into her role as a Dior ambassador, representing the womenswear collections designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior’s Creative director of womenswear. The Academy Award nominee for Best Supporting Actress brings her distinctive presence to the brand, following her remarkable portrayal of Joan Baez in “A Complete Unknown.”

“Since I was a kid, I was inspired by fashion and its evolution as an art form. Dior has held an iconic place in my imagination. I am so honored to be joining a house that is the gold standard in elegance, craftsmanship and celebration of the feminine,” said Barbaro of her admiration for the brand.
Dior believes that Barbaro represents the brand’s elegant and bold style that continues to redefine femininity. The fashion house said that this partnership highlights more than ever the unique link between Dior and different forms of culture.
In July last year, the 34-year-old actress also became an ambassador for Bvlgari, a luxury brand owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, the same company that owns Dior.
After graduating from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Barbaro gained recognition for her supporting role in “Top Gun: Maverick.” She then landed a starring role in Netflix’s action comedy series “Fubar.”
