For this season, the designer used the existing to create the new. A starting point for this collection was the brand’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection, exploring the idea of reexamination, contemplation and expansion. The looks were girlish yet free from gender binaries. Last season’s midriff-baring miniskirt and super-crop top were back in various shapes, from pleated to a line. For fall, she made this look the main event, giving girlishness a neo-preppy school uniform flavor, with a few leather-clad misfits in the mix to keep things interesting.
