To celebrate the 6th anniversary of her label, Marine Serre invited a few thousand guests – professionals and non-professionals – she opened the event to the public, by organizing an online draw – at the Lycée Michelet stadium in Vanves for a joyful and festive parade/show.
The parade took on the feel of an Olympic opening ceremony where a group of people led by a flag bearer, like a sports delegation, gave the start to a crowd of models made up of athletes, friends and family members of all ages including rugby player and reality TV star Kelegh Moutome, former soccer player Djibril Cissé, Paralympic gold medalist Alexis Hanquinquant, fencer Margaux Rifkiss, boxer-turned-model Alexis Chaparro, singer Jorja Smith, Dutch-Iranian music artist Sevdaliza, and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon, who will close the show.
They walked the 400 meters of the stadium, dressed in clothes made mostly from recycled materials. From grunge-inspired looks made from recycled silk scarves to a series of pieces made from terry cloth, chic suits, tweed jackets with gold buttons, the Spring/Summer 2023 collection also featured the new swimwear line, stamped with its signature crescent moon.
