After months of speculation, the Levi’s x Air Jordan 3 collaboration is officially set to launch in Spring 2026. Featuring three premium denim-driven colorways, black, indigo, and sail, the capsule revisits the legacy of the brands’ 2018 partnership with refined materials, celebrity previews, and a strong nod to Jordan Brand history. Spike Lee’s public appearances have now confirmed what sneaker insiders have been tracking for months.
While attending the Critics Choice Association’s Celebration of Black Cinema & Television, film director Spike Lee provided the best look yet at the black colorway from the collection. He matched the sneakers with a sharp suit to showcase the premium materials used on this retro model. Rather than the full denim construction seen on previous releases, the upper features black leather. Denim fabric still plays a major role, appearing on the mudguard, eyelets, and collar to provide texture. Red accents, including a tag on the side and Jumpman embroidery on the tongue, provide just enough contrast to break up the dark palette.
Many collectors will immediately notice the similarities between this design and the classic Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement” colorway. The gray denim on the toe and heel mimics the traditional elephant print blocking, and the black leather base keeps the aesthetic grounded in history. This specific pair made an appearance earlier in the month when Lee walked the red carpet at the FN Achievement Awards.

Two other versions will join the black pair to complete the pack. The blue edition features a navy denim upper with elephant print overlays, aligning closely with the company’s heritage.
